CONTROLLED RELEASE FERTILIZERS

HAIFA MULTICOTE

CONTROLLED RELEASE FERTILISERS

Multicote polymer coated controlled release fertilisers release high elemental plant nutrients slowly and continuously throughout the growth cycle. A single application of Multicote will take care of optimal plant nutrition over months.
Multicote is available at a wide range of formulae, and with release longevities of 2-16 months (at soil temperatures of 21° C).

Advantages of Multicote
Plant nutritional needs are met by single applications per season. Saving on labour and time.
Reliable release profile, which is unaffected by soil type, soil pH, moisture or microbial activity.
High concentration of nutrients.
No leaching into ground water or loss to the atmosphere. Ecologically superior.
Easy to apply. Granular formulation.
Homogenously distributed in the soil or potting mix.
More efficient use of fertilisers without wastage, allowing for reduced application rates.
Salt accumulation in the soil is prevented.

Formulations available
NPK granules 15-7-15 + Micro elements
Coated Potassium Nitrate 12-0-43
Coated Urea 42-0-0
Coated Ammonium Phosphate 10-48-0

Multicote Controlled Release Fertilizers are made of high-quality nutrients in a granular form, encapsulated in a polymeric coating. Following application, Multicote granules start to absorb moisture, which dissolves the nutrients inside. Then, the dissolved nutrients diffuse slowly and continuously to the root zone, at a rate dictated by soil temperature solely.

Recommended Applications
On light, sandy soils.
In rainy areas, when rainfall and irrigation accelerates nutrient leaching.
For crops with shallow root systems. But not restricted too.
For crops with high nutritional requirements.
